Two siblings, one mission.
Hi! We are co-founders Liam Kojuharov (15) and Dahlia Kojuharova (12). Over the past couple of years as we were growing up and our interest took shape, we developed a passion for our respective interests — chess and math.
We created Moves² to teach lessons to children at the Larchmont Public Library and raise money for the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, NY. Since our debut in January 2025, we've raised hundreds of dollars and are seeking to raise thousands more.
Currently, we are looking to grow our teacher base and expand to many more locations, to better spread the love of chess and math. By teaching free lessons across the New York Metro area, we hope to encourage enthusiasm for these subjects among youth of all ages.

Hi! I'm Liam, a rising 10th grader at Horace Mann School in the Bronx, NY, and a competitive chess player with a peak USCF rating of 1950. I am the vice-captain of my school's chess team and have placed top 10 at regional, state, national, and even international chess tournaments. Outside of chess, I enjoy playing piano and violin, and tennis.

Hi! I'm Dahlia, a rising 7th grader at Horace Mann School in the Bronx, NY. I am passionate about math because opens doors to seeing patterns everywhere, and that's very exciting! I also enjoy playing violin, tennis, and learnign foreign languages.
